What to expect: When you arrive at Happy Rock Farm your horse will be safely tied in the indoor riding arena. Once equine safety has been discussed you will move right into meeting you horse. This is a great time to spend time interacting and petting the horse which helps create a trust and bond with your new equine friend. Petting can also help to reduce stress and anxiety in both the horse and the person. Grooming is another way to bond with a horse. It also stimulates blood circulation and helps maintain a healthy coat and skin. Once your 30 minutes is coming to an end this is a great time to treat your horse with with it's favorite snack.
